It was a challenging but fun build. Loose Cannon gives you LOTS of PE to play with - including parts not visible to the naked eye - at least not mine. They are still on the fret so don't look for them!

She is enroute to the Solomons, with a couple of PT boats as a deckload - probably for Tulagi.

...LC does an amazing amount of detail work on this kit:

It could be a little crisper and some of the parts had me guessing how I was going to make them work.

... LC's been working on their casting techniques, so their kits should only get better. They offer some interesting and not often covered subjects. I notice that I've built quite a few of them, so they've sold me.

I'm still waiting for David Angelo (of Loose Cannon) to finish USS Long Island. That is the last subject needed to build every class of US escort carrier of WWII.
